Nomadic November 2018

Dear Diary,

I am feeling so tired now as I am writing this post, probably still trying to adjust and get over post-vacation blues. Maybe it's from all the exhaustion I was going through, from moving, and rushing work before my long break.

Christmas has started in November, beginning with Christmas shopping and food tasting. It is my most favorite time of the year, but I am too busy rushing things to get excited about it, or feeling the festive spirit. But I am happy that we managed to bid for the BBQ Pit at our condo on Christmas Eve!!!!! - so we could celebrate our first Christmas there by holding a small party for family members.

Lots of work issues to settle (I've already tried my best not to check work emails during the break, but sneak peeks made me so tired) - both for the main work and side business. And to think I was even thinking of bringing my laptop for the trip so I could work at night, lol!  But I am thankful for the cases that were still pouring in during my vacation, and my strategic partner for handling them.

Nomadic month because we have temporarily shifted into the SIL's apartment for the time being, while our new place is undergoing renovations and all. The packing and unpacking is draining me a lot, and I don't feel good imposing on her. Furthermore, there is another round of moving to do in December when our own place is ready. So, hectic, hectic, hectic again, with all preparations lined up.

Nomadic was a good way to describe our Melbourne trip as well - moving from house to house every 2-3 days as we drove along the state, exploring different attractions and areas. I enjoyed Perth very much, but Melbourne's trip left impressions of constant moving, and odd weather patterns deep in my mind. Yes, the weather was crazy - I finally understood what people meant by experiencing 4 different seasons in a single day at Melbourne- we felt the full extent.  It got so bad that halfway into the trip I was developing aversions to wine (red and white) as well as some food items I used to enjoy.

Can't wait to settle down and get a good rest finally (oh, then there's still housewarming to plan, and Lunar New Year in the pipeline following our Move).

Have been neglecting the spiritual part of my life - no meditation nor Tarot reading for the 2 weeks (and next 2 weeks I foresee).

Am also sick of social media so might take a break from Instagram - will only post on Facebook the blog posts I've already written and saved in drafts. Gave up on a few lovely events no thanks to busy schedule too.

Well, that's all for November's updates for now it seems.  Thank you for staying tuned my dears. Stay loved and have a great December ❤πŸ’‹πŸŒΉ

Otherworldly October 2018

Dear Diary,

We've moved away from October, and slowly plunging into November with a fervour. Well at least for me- since November means moving into the NEW place, and the long annual vacation. But first, what did October bring, and what did it take away?

The first week was super hectic because I was mugging a lot for the exams. You can't even tell how nerves wrecking it is now that results are still pending. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Then I finally got back into spiritual focus such as meditation, divination, deciphering of dreams and messages. It is  all frighteningly accurate, and I need to know how to control and learn to use my gifts to heal / help, in due course. Right now,  the regaining the first steps are crucial.

There has been some shopping around for furniture and dΓ©cor; as well as some last luxury indulges because I can no longer afford to splurge. I bought something really expensive and massive; something that would devour me and I would enjoy it - the new house!!! We are so excited to move in. More details coming up in November hopefully.

Work has been really busy because of the influx of cases (a good problem at that), and the insurance business is picking up too. Blogging invites have reduced but the ones who approached are more quality now, which suits me better. I am trying to move away from that slowly (sorry, been saying it for years!).

Also, some overdue catching up with friends. The first waves of Christmas has finally swept over me and I cannot believe this year has been so hectic that I am only feeling it  now. Usually I get the Christmas spirit as early as June. Christmas plans are starting to pile up, thankfully; and I even started on some Christmas shopping.

Brought the Mom on a short Cruise Trip and she enjoyed it very much; it was also a much-needed break for me after all that intense studying.  I also had my hair cut a lot shorter (I had wanted a longer length but the hairstylist overdid it), it's all good.

Finally, here's wishing you Happy Halloween aka Samhain! Honour your loved ones! Blessed be! πŸŒΉπŸ’‹

Spiffy September 2018

Dear Diary,

September stole away stealthily, and in its wake, October creeps in - with promises of Oktoberfest, Samhain (Halloween), and more.

In the meantime, let us deal with the unfinished tale of Spiffy September, an outfit of calendar of events amidst the studious schedule. I sent my Life Coach my daily schedule (to help me with Time Management) and even she thinks my slots are too stuffed. What happened to make this month such a tight squeeze?

Let's see. Well, there was work- and by work, maybe I should share more. There's the business development component of a niche industry, and there's the estate planning aspect of it, too - so lots of meetings, networking and presentations to get the ideas across. Because of my background, I also handle the PR / media aspects of it, as well as some basic HR functions. Oh, I organize events too, and teach for those short, certification courses.

Then there's the insurance business running on the side, waiting for me to spruce it up further (and I will, soon). I am blessed with awesome clients who are supportive and catching up with them feels like meeting friends.

I have come to the end of Driving Lessons and should be able to attempt the exams soon. I shall document my BBDC experience once that's done, ok?  Also busy cramping for an important exam this coming weekend - praying hard that I will obtain a Pass. So I can live my dream life through it.

A fair bit of time was also spent educating myself on Bitcoin and Crypto-currency, not  being able to obtain assistance from anyone. I was proud to say that I could transact and sell my own digital tokens for Sing Dollars finally, after some research, asking around online, and trial & error. Made a little loss, but the enrichment was well worth it. After my exams, I shall write a post on "Layman's Guide To Crypto" too!

And then a little research into furnishings for the new home!  And then I could finally set aside time to meditate everyday - cleansing, finding myself; as well as trying to recall my night-time dreams again because they used to hold a lot of epiphanies.

I have not had time for much meetings with friends nor attending of blogger-related events, apologies again. Priorities must be settled first (in fact, writing this post right  now feels like a waste of time too, but if I don't it would be November before I realize it).

It was Hungry Ghost Festival still, so I attended one of those Auction Dinners for the cultural experience. I also got to attend not one, but 2 gala dinners within a week - relishing the glamming up and good food. I just love charity galas and events as such - I need to do very well, so I could get invites and access to more of these experiences (the full suite of dolling up, mingling with awesome people, and beautifully-curated food).

Oh, it was also Mid-Autumn Festival so mooncakes shopping + gifting was mandatory. And there was the adorable Nephew's birthday celebration with family as well.

Okay, that's it for now.  My books beckon. Thank you dearies for gracing my blog and see you in November - stay gorgeous, loves   πŸŒΉπŸ’‹

Sail Ahoy, August 2018!

Dear Diary,

It's one month further from the beginning of 2018, drawing closer to my trips, and some exciting times ahead. There's going to be changes geographically, spiritually and more - stressful, yet at the same time invigorating.  I am developing myself too, learning things about me that I never knew, like I am trying to stretch my potential.

August was a delicious month for me, not because of the food I got to enjoy, but because I got to sail with 2 different yachts in a month. I just love the serene seas so much, I cannot even express my love in words. I lost weight! My diet and exercise regime was not all in vain; clothes that were a tight fit, now fit nicely again.

It is lunar 7th month, aka the month of "Hungry Ghosts Festival".  In traditional Chinese context, a month to be feared, as spirits roam the earth. I am not sure - I have walked around sleeping corpses in my line of work and not feel threatened. I walked back alone at night, and I meditate with the lights off during evening too. I write letters to dead relations and burn them off, hoping they'd be well received. Well, it's not that I am totally fearless, but I harmed no one (at least not to the extent of causing their demise!), and what's the worst an evil spirit could do to me? Take my life so I could become like them, and exact vengeance? Hmm.....

Speaking of which, I am glad to be taking the life coaching lessons, and finally following the path of my desired religion again. With it, I feel things have gotten smoother. And with it, I hope to explore and reach my full potential, discovering what my true gifts are, and how I may serve the world at large with these awakened powers. No, its not mumbo-jumbo or a walk in the park - there are plenty of assignments and hard work involved too, but higher powers shall aid to attain greater results. Its like biblical doctrine, "God help those who help themselves."

Social meets with friends have really reduced by a lot - sorry, please bear with me as I have my plates full, with work, insurance business, driving, another course, teaching (part of the work), religious practices and family (happy to touch base with the paternal cousins again!). I am spread so thin, I once joked, "That's the reason for the weight loss." In fact, it came to my realization that 90% of my social events this month were all with my business networking friends :/

Other than that, I am grateful for opportunities also, on the blogging front, mainly beauty or events related.

I shall leave you for now, with lots of love and a quote. "To reach a port we must sail, sometimes with the wind, and sometimes against it. But we must not drift or lie at anchor." Oliver Wendall Holmes, Sr.

See you in September, darlings xoxoxoxoxo's

July, the 7th Month of the Gregorian Calendar

Dear Diary,

We have safely crossed the 7th month of 2018, wishing that time does wait for someone. Across the world, there are reports of catastrophes and disasters - pray that everyone will be safe. Over at this end of the globe we are watching the various episodes of "Purge", having mixed feelings about it.

July was.... a month of opportunities, if I may say so. Quite a few cases came in "sky-dropped" style - thank Deities. Though I really hate it when clients delay payment for months - it's like, enjoying service for free but when it comes to payment, "I will check, I will check!". I picked up professional writing again (not blogging- but writing writing). Shopping, skincare and selling the current place, these took up a chunk of my life in July too.  That, and the addition of one more short cruise trip.

Spent July 4th with Anthurium guys, fulfilling one of my bucket list to-go cafes. Hey, its nice because its P.S. CafΓ© on One Fullerton, sea-facing. Spent July 7th at a wine gathering with business networking friends. Spent time at the wheels of a car and the wheel of a yacht - happy to be at the marinas anytime! Completed another bucket list at Enchanted CafΓ© so now there's left only 2 on the list. Date night with Mon Beau, something we have not done for a while ever since staying together - we should really do this more often.

Other news, praying that I will get where I want to be (physically and literally speaking). That's all for now, lots to keep busy on in August. Shall keep you posted, and thanks for watching this space once again! Kisses and hugs - till the next month -----<-------- font="">(@

Jazzy kind of June

Dear Diary,

We crossed the mid-year mark for year 2018, talk about blink of an eye! June was pretty exhilarating, with one of the weekends most taxing, yet a relief because some important exams were over. I expect to get the results anytime soon. The results were nothing like what I'd expected.

But then I was a lucky bitch, because immediately after that hectic period of intense revision, I was whisked away on a trip to Phuket - it was Mon Beau's and my first visit there. It was an enjoyable trip with fun-loving people, and I tried many things I would otherwise not have tried (think kayaking, Escape Room, snorkelling, etc).

Work remains work, with new projects in the pipeline. The biz yielded something more - am thankful that ex-clients are coming back to me one by one on their own accord. Service is everything, darling - show them something and they are yours for life - even if they try another provider for a year, they would eventually realize what they're missing.

Many other personal projects in the pipeline; wanted to give up blogging but new assignments and invites keep on coming in (I should be thankful for this blessing). I finally met one of my favourite actresses at an event! House-hunting is on-going, so is the search for good treatment for my scars. Heard a tragic piece of news recently regarding a beautiful kind-of cousin; hope she is at peace now, wherever that may be.

There was also the Dragon Boat Festival aka Rice Dumpling Festival. And since it was the school holidays, Mon Beau and I brought the nephew to KidZania for a day of fun. Outings with friends have been reduced considerably, from at 1.5 times a week (6 times a month) to perhaps twice a month - sorry, too many things to keep up on currently. In the past, all my schedules were easily remembered  but these days I cannot function without my phone calendars.

Finally, I wish to reiterate that the doctrines of "Givers'  Gains"  and "What Goes Around, Comes Around"  are absolutely true. When you give freely and without selfish thoughts, things get smoother in life; opportunities are more readily available, and you get more to give back to society. But of course, give wisely and not to the undeserving scammers :)

With that, I thank you once again for taking the time to read this blog of mine - stay healthy and loved. Till the next time  πŸ’‹πŸ’‹πŸ’‹

Merry May 2018

Dear Diary,

It was a pretty hectic month for me, and writing my monthly entry slipped my mind frankly (though I still update the manual is written journal on a rather often basis).

Lots of arduous studying and I finally sat for the exams over the weekend. I cannot wait for the results to be announced soon, though a part of me fears the answers. To my own amazement my memory is still awesome (I do suspect I have a certain degree of photographic memory), I could sit and type down about 30 questions for each paper that was being tested.

Sitting behind the wheel became a part of life too, hoping to be able to take control and manoeuvre on my own soon too.

Other that that, work, business and the blogging were pretty consistent. We celebrated Mother's Day and the Mom's birthday at a restaurant she missed. Oh, and Mother's day dinner with the MIL and extended family too - so yes, plenty of feasting.

I need to pack for an upcoming trip already so see you next month. Thank you dears for staying tuned xoxoxoxo.

Amazing April 2018

Dear Diary,

Waiting for April was like anticipating the bloom of sakura for me - gentle flutter of the heart, but nothing as exciting as anticipation of Christmas. That said, April was amazing, and it passed by too soon.

April was my month, an Aries' dearest moment. They wished me wisdom as I gradually age, and I tasted it finally. A situation that would've left me otherwise panicky and helpless, has made me more shrewd as I calmly dissected the information and dug for solutions instead of worrying. And voila, loopholes spotted; I am salvaged once more. Wisdom rules.

That aside, there had been a trip to my favorite Hong Kong for celebration of my birthday and our wedding anniversary.

There were dinner and drinks celebrations with cherished friends - thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Work and business fronts are good too, thank Deities. I have just been very busy with lessons and revision for the course. I must obtain a pass though its a tough paper,  because failure is not an option.

Blogging has been slowed down by alot and I gave up most tastings. Stretching myself too thin ain't pretty - I was losing focus on bettering the more important things. That said, I still love a beautiful dining experience, but it's more on the ambience and not so much the dishes (sadly)- I am not gourmet and not going to pretend to be one.

On other fronts, we also honoured the ancestors this month, for it was Qing Ming (aka the Chinese "All Souls' Day"). Sadder still, Inuka the Polar Bear passed on - rest in peace, you beautiful thing.

Moving on, exciting things are happening in May and I shall keep you posted. Do continue to watch this space and stay loved πŸ’‹πŸ’‹

Merry March

Dear Diary,

Thanking my Deities for all blessings that have befallen me (us) in March this year. It marks the passing of a quarter, seeping slowly through to the month of Aries by now - but yes, March has been eventful.

What transpired during this month? Less social nights (gatherings with friends, solo cafe chills or networking events) because of lessons 2 to 3 evenings a week. I rekindled my love for studying, for learning new things, because knowledge is king. With it, you can make conversations with everyone, you can unlock secrets and you can tell straight away if someone is bullshyt-ing you.

The main job and business(es) are thriving well, more trainings and new cases of course. With these, come new challenges. On the blogging front, I have given up on a fair bit of events attendance, and kind of changing directions. Oh well, side interests shall remain side interests- just like many other "projects" I have on hand currently, like getting another book written.

Also forcing myself to read more these days - not novels or history of English queens, but more of business related books by / about successful people, as well as religious ones, too.

Some fun bites - attended the Evita concert at Marina Bay Sands, celebrated St. Patrick's weekend with some drinks, kickstarted the Aries celebratory events, said goodbye to Lunar New Year, bought Easter Eggs and went "tomb-sweeping" for Ching Ming. Still missing those who have left us.

That said, I need to get going because I need to pack my luggage for the upcoming Hong Kong trip! Thank you dears, for gracing this site once again - stay loved *hugs and kisses*

Fulfilling February 2018

Dear Diary,

February has made its entrance and exit swiftly, being a busy month of festivities, feasting, family and friends'  functions.

Before that, glad to update that work and the business are moving forward smoothly, with a couple of surprises that I enjoyed thoroughly. I also signed up for a couple of courses which shall be announced when I have successfully passed the tests in a couple of months. But these are enough to keep me really busy in the interim.

Oh, and jumping onto the crypto-currency bandwagon.

Moving on, there are finalizations for more vacations, which I am excited about. Bad news though, that I will be stuck in this house for another 4 years (shorter, if I can help it) - which I hate - since I hate anything inhibited by others before. Anyway, I tried my best to discard everything that have been used before, and set about redecorating to my taste and style (everything brand new, of course) - think branded WMF cookware, piano, wine chiller etc.

There was Valentine's Day as well, which we celebrated at home with wine, candlelight and a delicious steak dinner set from Jack's Place.

Also, the preparation for Lunar New Year - tons of foodstuff to buy, shipping for new clothes, changing of new notes, ensuring the house is spring-cleaned, beauty and hair appointments to look good. During the festive period itself, there were visitations, friends'  gatherings, bringing overseas guests around to the touristy spots, and lots of feasting. Oh, and visiting the hospital to spread the joy to the elderly residents.

Oh, and I also started on a healthier lifestyle - less eating, eliminating carbohydrates strictly, drinking less, drinking a lot of water in place of sweet drinks (even when outside), and exercising thrice a week at least. These, and better skincare and haircare products and regime too.

Music and meditation will soon join the lifestyle routine, enabling me to be closer to my religion and unlocking the gifts I know reside in me.

In the meantime, thank you dears for reading this entry - see you end of March. Lots of love and kisses x0x0x0

Just January 2018

Dear Diary,

The time capsule has propelled us into 2018, a fresh start, for better or for worse. For the first part of the year I was still largely trapped in the Vancouver spell, feeling lost and moonless for everything else - disturbed sleep with dreams of Vancouver, extreme fatigue, and an unfamiliarity for everything here.

That spell is over, thankfully, and as I list down short term goals one by one, I am determined to attain them. One of them involves more seminars for the year, which will also lead to increasing the protective sphere. Oh, grabbing the wheels finally, too (yes, this has been a resolution for ages but time mismanagement + lack of discipline have prevented me from attaining it.

Shopping, lots of reading, lots less eating, some more exercise and events have taken over January for now. Oh, and a yatching adventure which has also been my post-Vancouver remedy, totally, totally, made the month beautiful. Once again I am reminded of my love of the seas, breezes and sense of infinite freedom, while the sun rays kissed my skin golden.

There're also at least 2 vacations confirmed and booked for the year (Hong Kong and Australia) with Indonesia pending exact dates. Oh, and preparation for the upcoming Lunar New Year and some family events have kept me busy too.

That's it for now I guess. Keep you posted in a month's time - thanks for watching this space. Blessed New Year to you dears 😘😘😘

Deserving December 2017

Dear Diary,

The last month of 2017 was a very eventful one, with nearly every day filled with a dinner gathering or Christmas-related event. I think I must've tried the Christmas specials from many restaurants. It was truly an exciting month.

Let's see. There was the home party where we also celebrated Winter Solstice. There were the family dinners to celebrate Mon Beau's birthday. There were dinner gatherings with my many different groups of precious friends, feasting over good food and catching up. There were events such as personal Christmas parties, media invites, watching Horse Racing in a box, networking event parties and excursions for the niece + nephew.

There was also preparation for Christmas such as shopping, setting up the Christmas tree, re-reading the usual festive books and playing Christmas carols by various artists.

Then there was the perfect White Christmas trip to Vancouver, Canada - where I got to hang out with the Bestie and her family. Christmas was perfect because we experienced snow, and a blend of Canadian and Romanian cultures. Plenty of drinking, a lovely Scandinavian spa, winter sports, delectable food and beautiful Christmas lights.

Work and business-wise, things could be improved on.  I am working toward my goal, and hope to attain them by June 2018.

That's it for now. Thanks for staying tune once again - take care and Blessed 2018 New Year to you my dears... See you in a month's time xoxoxoxo's

Notable November

Dear Diary,

In the blink of an eye, we have glided on the wings of time and arrived at the final month of year 2017. Much have transpired; it was a month of celebrations and commemorations.\

Happier times, well Christmas is approaching so the streets and malls are beautifully decorated, inducing strong festive vibes. I thought that the overall Christmas dΓ©cor around the island this year is especially dazzling.

Needless to say, Christmas shopping commenced, both for winter wear, gifts and festive snacks. Catching up with different groups of friends for our annual Christmas dinners have also kickstarted - always lovely to meet up.

Then there was a short road trip to Genting Highlands with Mon Beau and his friends.- fun filled one laden with lots of eating, casino visits, shopping and movie.

Thanksgiving - loads to be thankful for, to appreciate and to cherish - including the people, the potentials, the gifts and other blessings.

Finally, lots and lots of events and business opportunities - thank my Deities for the blessings! We also booked our April trip already - back to Hong Kong, my favorite country for my birthday!

Moving on to other aspects of life, a dilemma ensued, pulling me in various directions - fight or flight? Many factors to consider.

This is also, sadly, the month of my Dad's death anniversary. Are you in a far better place now,  my Dad? I dearly hope so.

Sadder yet, is the sudden passing of a kind-of friend which I (we) felt could've been avoided, somehow. Love can be such a double-edged sword; happiness derived, painful ends. Rest in peace, sweet D.

Oh well, life will go on. Lets welcome December into our lives and live it well, live it to the fullest- so that when we kiss 2017 goodbye, we leave no regrets behind.

Thank you dears for reading this page - watch this space once more. Have a dazzling December ahead! *kisses*

Oktober is a history

Dear Diary,

We have unknowingly trespassed into November 2017; we watched the pale red Autumnal leaves cascading from the trees like snowflakes, before the branches become barren. Then the snowflakes fall gently, softly upon the grounds, landing soundlessly upon surfaces hard and soft.

What happened in October?  A plethora of events related to work, seminars, workshops, business deals, rushing to hit CPD points, and other considerations that excited me. There was Halloween but I did not get to do the trick-or-treat. Would be fun if I got to dress up.

Thinking back, did I manage to find time to meet my friends?  Considerably lessened - apologies for that. Managed to attend 2 close friends' weddings over 2 weekends, as well as a good friend's baby girl's first year birthday.  Nice catching up and unwinding.

Other than weekdays, everyday is like clockwork - even on weekends I am following schedules. 10am - supervising the part-time helpers.  2pm - shopping. 4pm -  visit the Mom.  6pm - dinner at the in-laws.  You get the drift.  I need to get back to Yoga and lots, lots of meditation.  I am happy that I learned a lot from the people I have been networking with as well - including discovery of some fascinating ideas and religions I never knew existed.

Lots, lots of shopping done, mainly for the Vancouver trip - gifts, winter clothing, Christmas stuff.  The malls are already starting on Christmas adornment, and carols are being played - but the festive mood is taking a while to show.

Need a break. Need to chase the dreams that formed after a certain wake-up call.
